And now, A word specifically for Men .....
I hear so much talk from men these days
that now they have got past thirty, or forty, or fifty years old, their
strength is diminished and they are ‘getting’ old.
They obviously NEVER really read the
Bible!
Our strength is not about the years of
our life, but about our walk with God.
If you choose to believe the lie and
live a mindset of ‘waiting to die’, then that is up to you.
I have watched multitudes of young men
pack their dreams, their visions and their full potential into the bag of early
‘retirement’ and ‘inevitability’.
Do you know what I mean? As soon as
they have children, they fall into some sort of mentality that shuts down their
aspirations and expectations. They begin to look back on what they could have
done, rather than what they can do!
I have looked at the pitiful stupidity
of men of thirty years old as they ‘settle down’ into a life of an ‘old
buffer’.
Now all their existence is about going
to work, doing the shopping with their ‘Missus’, looking after the children and
waiting to die. If you try to get them to come with you and do something a bit exhilarating or dangerous, they shy away quickly and
tell you that they now have ‘responsibilities’.
They are told by the modern church
counsellors that it must be ‘family first’ and God’s ‘calling’ comes second,
third, or even fourth along with, ‘Go ye into all the world, and preach the
Gospel’.
King David, that mighty warrior of God,
recognised that his call was elevated above family, friends and mockers. God’s
demands came first, long before the claims of nearest and dearest (Matthew
10:37). His calling was from above, not from beneath, and found its beginning
before the foundation of the world (2Samuel 6:14-23).
Jeremiah’s call from God came before he
was even born. ‘Before I formed you in the belly I knew you; and before you
came forth out of the womb I sanctified you [set you apart], and I ordained you
a prophet unto the nations.’ Jeremiah 1:5
Likewise the Apostle Paul: ‘Paul, a
servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of
God.’ Romans 1:1 (Galatians 1:15-16)
We are called from before time began to
be conformed (fashioned, moulded) into the image of Christ, to walk as he
walked, to live as he lived (Romans 8:29; John 8:29).
Jesus said, “I must be about my Father’s
business.” (Luke 2:6).
I think that if the disciples had ever
become like the men of this age, the world would never have heard of Christ.
You do not ever read of a disciple having to beg his wife for permission to go
on an evangelistic mission, or an all-night prayer meeting.
When did you hear Peter or John say
that they could not go to some place or other to preach in case they upset the
wife? When was the obligation of going shopping ever a contest to the work of
God for those men of faith?
What a shambles the church has become,
especially the men!
God’s call and commission is always
FIRST, over and above the demands or whining and crying of any other party.
Effeminacy in the ministry has bred a
load of cowards. (1Corinthians 6:9; Nahum 3:13)
Intellectualism in the church has
sought to overwrite the Word of God (1Timothy 6:4-5).
New version after new version of the
Bible has destroyed the believer’s confidence in the written Word and its
infallibility. They have stolen the respect, the gravity, the reverence, and
the assurance Christians should have of the Scriptures.
Psychology and Christian counselling
has removed the revelation of God from and to the hearts of men (1Timothy
6:20). Why did we exchange the wisdom of Christ for the pseudo-wisdom of man?
‘If the foundations be destroyed, what
can the righteous do?’ Psalm 11:3
But thank God the foundations cannot be
destroyed!
‘For you see your calling, brethren,
how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble,
are called: but God has chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the
wise; and God has chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things
which are mighty; and base [lowly] things of the world, and things which are
despised, has God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to
nought things that are: that no flesh should glory in his presence. But of him
are you in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom…..’ 1Corinthians
1:26-30
Half-baked, unconverted cowboys,
parading under the titles of pastor, bishop and so on, have stolen the
reverence and personal all-sufficiency of Christ away from the simple- hearted
and ignorant believers. They wickedly make them to rely and even depend upon
the ‘minister’ for hearing instruction and personal direction for their lives.
And now we have a whole gang of mouthy,
obnoxious, strutting women usurping authority over the men, who pathetically
love to have it so! See Isaiah 3:12; and 1Timothy 2:12, if you dare.
This is not about male chauvinism, but
about Divine order set in place from the beginning of time by God Himself.
We had better take good note of
Revelation 2:20-23 speaking of that woman Jezebel ‘who calls herself a
prophetess’, who you give space to teach and instruct you, seducing you to
accept her words as though they came from God. But she shall soon be cast into
great tribulation and distress ALONG WITH ALL THOSE who follow her instruction
and support her ‘ministry’ (an abused word). (Read it for yourself.)
Away with it all! We can each one of us
know and understand the will of God for our lives, without the need of any
priestess or so-called ‘prophetess’ to tell us what God is saying. They are
usually more interested in your praise, respect and especially your
subjugation; oh, and your 10% tithe of course, along with your purchase of
their insipid writings, rather than your well-being and eternal salvation.
It always astounds me when I see
hundreds of solid full- grown men in the African churches sitting under
some rather loud intimidating woman preacher screaming instructions and
barking commands at them. And now in the huge American and British conferences,
men become like silly children, squealing and submitting to the chirping parrot
on the platform!
It is about time men stopped trying to
‘get in touch with their feminine side’, and stood up to be home-grown,
full-grown, whole-wheat-grain men, with a good splash of manliness and godly
courage.
Shove the squawking bird in a steel
cage somewhere out of sight, chuck a heavy wet blanket over it; put on your
spiritual armour and uniform, rise up into your God- appointed destiny, and go
tell the church and this world what He is really saying!
Why do you put up with it? Get a grip
guys and step up into your authority in Christ! You were called and ordained to
teach and lead the people of God into truth. You will one day give a full
account to God for your failure to fulfil the ministry that God has put upon
you.
‘Take heed to the ministry which you
have received in the Lord, that you fulfil it.’ Colossians 4:17
Throw her out! Get rid of the Jezebel
and get preaching yourself, and be a righteous man! Wear the dignity of Christ
and the authority that God has bestowed upon you. This is your position, your
calling, your nobility as a man.
Read the Bible for yourself and see
what it says in 1Timothy 3:12-15. And if your bookshelf is filled with the
teaching of some woman ‘god-star’, I suggest that you take it all outside, set
fire to it and get the Bible back into its rightful place. Her writings are not
the Word of God, and never shall be.
Man did not come from the woman, but
the woman came from the man (the Bible says so), and although God taught Adam
everything that he was to know, He did not then take the woman aside and teach
her the same. Adam taught Eve all the truth that he knew about the Creator and
His ways. This was God’s divine order from the beginning of time; nothing to do
with ‘superiority’, but simply God’s plan and order of things.
‘But I suffer not a woman to teach
[says Paul], nor to usurp authority over the man [exercise dominion, as in
instructing and teaching, ruling or controlling in the church], but to be in
silence. For Adam was first formed, then Eve. And Adam was not deceived, but
the woman being deceived was in the transgression.’ 1Timothy 2:12-14
‘For a man indeed ought not to cover
his head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory
of the man. For the man is not of [from] the woman; but the woman of [from out
of] the man. Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman [was
created] for the man.’ 1Corinthians 11:7-9
This is not about being old-fashioned,
but simply saying what the Bible teaches. You can rip these bits out of your
version if you like, but the word remains and ‘endureth for ever’. To suggest
that you know better than God, is yet another delusion that will bring only
confusion and spiritual blindness.
Furthermore, let it be noted that it
was Eve who was deceived by the serpent and not Adam. She was the first
‘medium’, if you like, contacting the ‘dark side’; and it seems since then that
women have always been more ‘open’ to spiritual influences (both good and evil)
than men. That is why I have to wake the men up.
In the British Army we have a saying,
‘Order; Counter Order: Disorder!’
In the church there must be order, or
there will inevitably be disorder and ultimately, confusion.
Christ chose twelve disciples and
taught them all that he could. They were men. They went and turned the world
upside down.
I know that where there are no men to
do the teaching, then women must do so; but shame on the men for not rising to
the call of God. However, in our meetings today there are many unnoticed young
men who could wipe the floor with some of these big-headed, strutting,
plastic-reinforced-faced females on American and British religious television
channels talking a whole lot of poppycock and false doctrines.
The church is waiting for a man
(whether it realizes it or not). Our young people are waiting for a man. The
world is waiting for a man. The heavens are waiting for a man. And before the
Man Christ Jesus returns, God is looking for a MAN to do what He says and defy
the utter nonsense of ‘political correctness’ and ‘women’s lib’ gone mad.
I am not against women in ministry
where it is appropriate.
Some of our finest missionaries,
martyrs, evangelist- preachers, intercessors, revivalists and Sunday-school
teachers have been women. Furthermore, I know some wonderful women pastors
working with their husbands in ministry as pastors (shepherds) of churches. But
for grown men to sit there like babies, sucking milk bottles from their
nursemaids is a contradiction of spiritual law.
Men should be teaching the church of
God and living at the level which God ordained them to live at.
‘For when for the time you ought to be
teachers, you have need that someone teaches you again, even the first
principles of the oracles of God; and you are become such as have need of milk,
and not of strong meat.’ Hebrews 5:12;
‘And the things that you have heard of
me among many witnesses, the same commit to faithful men, who shall
be able to teach others also.’ 2Timothy 2:2
‘And from Miletus he [Paul] sent to
Ephesus, and called the elders of the church.’ [He said to those men]: “Take
heed therefore to yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy
Ghost has made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he has purchased
with his own blood.” Acts 20:17-28
As I said, I am not against women in
ministry where it is Biblical, however, I am all out for men to rise into their
true office and calling, and take back what they surrendered over and over
again to the devil just to appease the perpetual whining of those who refuse
God’s instruction.
The great Welsh revivalist Evan
Roberts, at the beginning of the last century, submitted to the criticisms and
manipulation of a ‘Christian’ woman who then used his words and inspiration to
champion her own ‘ministry’. He became a recluse, and after two years of the
most amazing revival ever known, he listened to a woman telling him that he was
too weak and sickly to preach and needed to rest.
Ever since then the authoritative power
of men in ministry has slowly but surely declined in this country, year by
year. I believe this is something that God showed me very clearly after
spending two days in the chapel at Loughor, South Wales, (waiting on God with a
small team) where the 1905 revival began. Have no doubt, it was a great and
strong evil principality that brought this about, and it will take a new
generation of men to reverse the damage done, and restore dignity and
masculinity to the preachers of righteousness in the churches of this land.
We now have a bunch of guys who are
baby-sitters and obedient husbands rather than radical, powerful, fearless and
daring men of God.
Men today, in this country, would
sooner submit to the nagging and whining of their wives and girlfriends, than
go and obey the voice of the Lord. You say it is not so? Then where are the
men? Even those coming from countries where culturally the man is most
definitely the head of the house, soon submit to the spirit of intimidation and
despising that has long been at work here in Great Britain and America.
Restore the ORDER that Christ has placed in His church, which was established at the beginning of time. Blessing and success will surely follow.
The three ‘R’s
Rugged, Righteous, and Regal men are
the great need of the hour, if ever true restoration and reformation is to come
to the church and this nation.
Well, that should have stirred up all
of the ‘Jezebel’ spirits from hell! I think I can hear them screaming and
writhing in their anger right now, slithering along the floor in coils like a
cobra with a mongoose on its back. Ha-Ha!
I did point out that this section was a
word for the men.
If you are a man and you don’t like this truth, then keep on squealing and crying like a girl.
We can send you some padded pants and a dummy if you want.
