Never before in human history has it been at such a density or level as it is now. Much of this escalation has been brought about through the phenomenal growth in the power of global digital communication and the manipulation of it by the media and those hidden despots who covertly control what the media says.
Most of what you read in the papers or on your phone and computer screens is a distortion of something obscured deliberately, to paint a different version of reality.
The masses have been coerced into accepting and believing that what is being reported or portrayed is real and true. It has become hard to distinguish between reality and soap operas.
Where there should have been light and truth to guide the people (whether that be from the government, educators, or the church) everything is now a fog of grey with no distinction and no contrast. The nations heave and twist in an out-of-focus and indistinct 'twilight' zone.
Just stand still in the centre of your town or city for 40 minutes and watch, and see if this is not true. Where is everyone going? What is the purpose of their lives? In all of their scurrying around night and day, where does it get them? Who are they, and what is their point of reference in this world? How can they distinguish what is real and what is not, what is true and what is a lie?
And at the end, when they are worn out and their last breath escapes their lips, where do they expect to go?
Are they truly 'free'? Are they not all slaves of a failed and wicked system, and servants to dirty 'overlords' who they have never met and never spoken to?
And yet, for thousands of years a voice has called out above all the din, all the nonsense, all the indecipherable noise and the raging violence of mankind, "You shall know the truth, and the truth will make you free!"
He did not say, "The truth will set you free", but he said, "The truth will MAKE you free!"
You can be set free from all sorts of circumstances and situations, but only the Truth will MAKE you free - freedom of the soul, freedom of heart and mind, freedom from a world that is engulfed with fear and evil, freedom of knowing who you are and where you are going once this earthly life is over. Freedom, knowing who holds your life safely in their hands.
For underneath you, undertaking for you, understanding you, and upholding you, are the Everlasting arms of Jesus Christ who said, "I am the Way; I am the Truth; I am the Life." "I will never leave you, nor forsake you, not even to the end of the world." (Deuteronomy 33:27)
Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you shall be saved, delivered, and be made free.
