They say, ‘Too many cooks spoil the broth!’ That is
absolutely true because each of them want to add another ingredient or remove
something from the recipe.
We can observe this in our nation and all across the world at government
level. There is nobody who has the ability to lead and direct in a proper and
sensible way, or has the capacity to be the sort of leader Great Britain once had
during the Second World War, that being Sir Winston Churchill.
The whole world lies in total confusion morally, mentally,
ethically, and more than anything, spiritually.
The same goes for many of the churches.
The reason? Because everyone has their own idea about what
is right and wrong. There is no guide or compass anymore, for they have
abandoned the simplicity of truth. This goes for all of the above mentioned.
As the Bible says, ‘Everyone does what is right in their own eyes’, and when that happens then all you have is utter confusion, total depravity, and spiritual blindness that obliterates common sense and right behaviour.
'In those days there was no king in Israel: everyone did whatever they thought was right by their own reckoning.' (Judges 21:25)
And why did this happen? Because there was no leader with integrity, godliness, honesty, truth, and brave enough to tell and say it like it is.
The only measure and plumb line of truth is what God says,
and that is to be found in the Holy Bible. (and not any old bible that has been
revised to the point of error and watered down to accommodate a compromised
church that thinks it can remove bits it doesn’t like, and add twisted teaching
that permits sin and worldliness into its practises).
Every ship needs a compass to know where North is. Every
young child needs a restraining hand to keep it from walking into the road.
Every nation needs an upright, honest, and righteous leader to maintain its
government and lead its people. Every church and every believer needs the Bible (and Bible-believing preachers) to guide them and keep them on the right track – and that is all that the
church needs.
And that is precisely what our nation needs, our young
people need, our leaders need. For where else will they find the point of
reference for what is right and what is wrong; for what is good for us, and
what is destructive to our society. Where will they run to when the calamities begin to fall and troubles come upon them like never before?
Shame on us, on our government, on our ‘leaders’, on the church, on the priests, pastors, the dancers and jivers, on the whole of our society because we abandoned the truth and spat upon the Word of God that blessed this nation in a way no other nation has been blessed.
We decided that
we know better than the Creator, and what we want should not be supressed by
anything the Bible says.
We chose to please the protesting crowds of God-haters, the
demands of a confused and misled generation that have never known the truth
because the church went to sleep and the government thought it too old-fashioned
to build the nation upon the old foundations that actually made us great.
'This is the generation that are pure in their own eyes, and yet is not washed from their filthiness.' (Provers 30:12)
Back to the Bible! If not, then the denominations will be of
no account and utterly void of any worth, the government will fall and fail (no
matter which party take the reins), and the young people and children will
wander like zombified drug addicts looking for the next ‘fix’ to try and make
them happy and give them some reason or purpose to get through the day.
We stand at the gates of an approaching catastrophe and global
nuclear war, nation rising against nation, and distress at an alarming level
throughout all the nations.
Only God’s word the Bible has the power to change things and
bring people to their senses, for without such, there is no moral compass, no spiritual
anchor, no definition of truth, and absolutely no hope for the future.
'Woe to them who think themselves wise and correct in their own eyes, and who think they are right by their own measurement of what is right or wrong! (Isaiah 5:21)
Read the Bible. Spread the Word. Preach the truth. All else
is entertainment and compromise to keep the church-goers happy and content.
