'In peace true soldiers are captive lions, fretting in their cages. War gives them their liberty and sends them, like boys bounding out of school, to obtain their heart's desire, or perish in the attempt. Battle is the soldier's vital breath! Peace turns him into a stooping asthmatic. War makes him a whole man again, and gives him the heart, strength, and vigour of a hero.'
C.T. Studd (famous British missionary)

Any good news out there?

Well, never has the world been in such considerable trouble, but all due to the evil and greed of mankind.

The world is a wonderful and beautiful place, but man seems to know only how to spoil it and create violence and destruction.

However, there is still a lot of good news out there in spite of those who want to change everything and create a world in their own fantasies and imaginations as to how it should be.

Watch an old black and white movie and see how nice people seemed to be back then, and how polite and reasonable everything appeared. The whole world seemed to have a charm about it and held dreams of a positive future. Children were happier and safer out playing with their friends, and the little things in life were valued so much more than anything today.

There is a new world coming in which all sadness and despair, all pain and crying, all fear and hopelessness will be gone forever. Evil and hatred, violence and abuse, sickness and disease will never be heard of again.

For certain I am not talking about any 'new world order' being planned by the evil despots we currently have, neither by any earthly organization whether it be social, financial, or religious.

I am talking about the promise that Jesus made and the Holy Bible speaks of in great length. It will be the revelation and establishing of his kingdom, and the final destruction of all wickedness and evil upon earth.

If you and I want to be part of that inheritance and citizens of such a kingdom, all we have to do is believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and surrender our lives to him in joy and assurance that he is ready to forgive our many faults and sins, and receive us as his own dear children. We simply have to turn around from the way we are going and the wrong things we are doing, and ask him to save us.

He will do the transforming of our lives and give us a brand new start and a brand new nature.
