'In peace true soldiers are captive lions, fretting in their cages. War gives them their liberty and sends them, like boys bounding out of school, to obtain their heart's desire, or perish in the attempt. Battle is the soldier's vital breath! Peace turns him into a stooping asthmatic. War makes him a whole man again, and gives him the heart, strength, and vigour of a hero.'
C.T. Studd (famous British missionary)

Stay as you are, or turn around and change things

We may look in despair at our country; we may look in dismay at the infiltration of ungodly practices and agendas that seek to diminish us and obscure our history and amazing spiritual heritage; we may wonder if there is any point in trying to do something to halt the Trojan horses that governments have allowed in to dictate and parade their despising of us as a people; we may feel like giving up.

But the Bible tells us that if we would but look to God, humble ourselves before Him, put away all the trash that is dirtying our lives, and come to Him in living faith, then things can be turned around in an extraordinary way.

Hebrews chapter 11 tells us what faith can do when our hearts are right with Him.

The enemies of righteousness can be made to flee from our shores and borders; the corruption and sickness of society can be reversed and healed; the plans of evil politicians and wicked governments can be overturned; the walls of defiance built against us can be brought down; the sea of defiance and opposition can be parted by the divine hand of God; our children can be saved and delivered from the evil that threatens their futures; a reformation can sweep out the trash of deception and lies that stands against the freedom that only truth brings.

But while the churches sing their little songs and the performers jive around the platform, and the preachers tell childish stories of 'how to be happy or how to get rich' sermons to entertain the self-centered congregations, no citadels of evil, no towers of defiance, no enemies of God will be in the slightest bit worried, for they know that there is no serious threat, no sold-out believers, no daring soldiers who would lose their lives for the sake of the gospel and the propagation of truth in the land.

We have a generation of soft-centered, half-converted, worldly-wise church-goers who know nothing of the power of the Word of God, nor of the power of God-given faith, nor the dynamic of the truth that shatters the lies and plans of the devils purposes in the nation.

You don't have to be perfect to rise up in faith; you don't need any earthly qualification to be strong in God's mighty power; you don't need the permission of any priest or church officer to go and do great exploits in the name of Jesus Christ; you don't need a name or fame to turn things upside down and make changes happen all around you.

You just need to know God, and believe that He that is in you is greater, smarter, mightier, more powerful than any devil, any religious agenda, any political deception, and anyone in this world.

If you are prepared to give up your plans, seek God with all of your heart, take up his standard, his banner onto the battlefield where truth will conquer evil, then you will see and experience the delivering hand of the Almighty, the power of the name of Jesus Christ, the accomplishment of your God-given faith as the towers come down, the people are delivered, the strongholds of Satan are besieged and torn apart, and precious lives are transformed and delivered from the devil's clutches.

It begins with humbling ourselves, and praying like never before; with seeking after God with all our hearts, and turning away from our wicked ways. Then God will hear us, (and only then will He hear us), and he will forgive our manifold sins, and He will heal our land.  (2Chronicles 7:14)

If you will do this, if your church would do this, then God's promise will come to pass. But if you do not, then things are only going to get worse.

The little word 'IF' is in your hands, and the future of your life, and other lives, and anything you might become, depends on your response to this little word.
