Queen Elizabeth died today.
The world shall feel and know that a balance in the world has been removed. There has been a shift in the order of the world this day.
It is a most spiritual matter. It will have visible and invisible effects that will run around the earth.
Her Majesty has been held by God in the position of that office for which she was ordained to, and in that role she was a balancing continuum throughout the world, whether people recognised it or not.
Imperfect like all of us she was, however, she has stood to her calling and to the promise she made to God; and God has sustained her for these many decades. Her strong faith in Jesus Christ and her love of the Bible has been the pillar and strength of her confidence and wisdom.
A rainbow appeared over Buckingham Palace, and also one over Windsor Castle at the time of the announcement of her death. In fact, even the edges of the clouds hanging over the palace appeared to have a rainbow etched into them. This is no accident, nor some chance phenomena. A spiritual shift took place when she passed away. The rainbows have nothing to do with any political or social politics or 'lifestyle' persuasions. It was a sign from God. It has a real spiritual and authoritative meaning.
At her Coronation in 1953 she was anointed with holy oil, a most spiritual and mysterious part of the service which finds its cause and reason in the Bible. She was seated on the ancient Stone of Jacob (around the year BC1760 The Stone of Scone) believed to be the very stone upon which that Old Testament patriarch who would later be renamed 'Israel' rested his head and saw a vision of angels ascending and descending from heaven.
The stone was under the seat of King Edwards Chair, held to be the very piece of rock upon which King David of Israel was anointed (around the year BC1048).
The Coronation is a deeply spiritual matter, held in deepest reverence, and before Almighty God. There are many aspects of it that have been forgotten or never even seen by the great majority of those alive today, and all of these aspects are rooted solidly in the teachings of the Bible.
You can try and shut God out of politics, education, business, and just about everything else, but you can never get rid of the truth of the powerful Christian history and the deep, deep, roots that are buried in the soil of this nation Great Britain.
Could it be that her departure heralds a time of much greater distress and troubles unseen before upon earth?
Or could it be that from this 96 year old seed falling into the ground and dying, a harvest might spring forth that will blast out the evil that has slowly but surely run riot throughout our society for the last five decades?
I pray the latter be so.
'Unless a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it remains alone: but if it die, it brings forth much fruit.' (John 12:24)
