'In peace true soldiers are captive lions, fretting in their cages. War gives them their liberty and sends them, like boys bounding out of school, to obtain their heart's desire, or perish in the attempt. Battle is the soldier's vital breath! Peace turns him into a stooping asthmatic. War makes him a whole man again, and gives him the heart, strength, and vigour of a hero.'

Message for 2022

It is January 1st 2022, and is just gone midnight where everyone has let off some fireworks or had a drink, or been to a party somewhere. The television is full of vomit and foul effluent from a cesspool full of anti-Christ devils and stupid people lost in their own ignorance and depravity. Judgment is not far off, for God sees the wickedness of mankind, hears the cry of violence against his laws, and smells the stench of sin's rampant disease.

I was moved to write this article, not with prearranged thoughts or words, but just as I felt moved of God to write. You may therefor consider that I receive this message as from heaven (if you so choose), or you can dismiss it as some fool who thinks he knows something or thinks himself somebody. That is your choice, but let him who has ears hear. And if God tells me to lift up my voice as a trumpet and show God's people their sin, then that I shall do, and not hold back my sword from blood.

The eyes of the LORD are searching throughout the earth for someone. It is so rare a person to find that he makes it His personal objective to search for the one, wherever they may be.

The world has become more and more evil over the last five decades, and in particular over the last ten years. People have turned into mindless zombies, incapable of understanding or of having any true wisdom. They dress up like the departed and dance and jive under every contortion to what they term 'music', but music that has no melody or reason.

A great change has occurred without anyone noticing as millions of demonic entities have taken possession of both young people and those who ought to know better. Look into the eyes of the infected and see the darkness that has consumed their common-sense and self-preservation instincts. Look into the eyes of the politicians and so-called 'experts' in medicine and science and behold the blackness deep within. These days it is physically visible as though the entities within care not whether you see them. There may indeed be some sort of biological viral going around, but that is nothing compared to the spiritual infestation, especially of our young people and the leaders of the nations.

I kid you not, there is great evil rampaging throughout the earth right now, seeking the destruction of all mankind, and the removal of all that is holy and good. Never before in the history of the world has so much evil come down upon the human race. The world was flooded during the time of Noah, and only eight people were saved alive. Noah was found to be a righteous man and because of his walk with God, he and his family were saved.

It said that at that time the world was filled with violence, unrestrained evil, and corruption of all that was held to be noble, pure, and right.

We have indeed reached a point further than this in the 21st Century. Truth has fallen and right-doing is all but gone. We live in a generation where everyone does what they think is right, and more than that, they have governments that encourage them in their sin and iniquity. They say, 'Good is evil, and evil is good', and wonder why they have mental problems and live totally confused and incoherent lives. Unless God himself has already shortened the days of this earth, no person would be saved, but because of his own people, who he knows, he has called time-up on this world at a certain given moment soon to arrive.

Sin is the great cancer that separates people from God, and in being separated from the source of life, they are but the walking dead, living with superstition and 'luck', but without any true hope for eternal heaven. In fact, many have chosen to think that after they die it is all over. The shock will meet them when their eyelids close for the last time and they realize that there is no way back to put things right with God. They made their choice to cast him away, refuse to honour his name Jesus, and must now live with the eternal regret that they were wrong, and God was right. Now all they can do is wait for the Day of Judgment when they will stand before the Almighty Creator and receive their eternal destiny.

And still the nations refuse to turn and make apology and repent of their evil ways. Violence is everywhere, the earth is cursed, and just go try and find someone you can really trust. They are more rare than finding a four-leafed clover along with winning the lottery on the same day.

You might think that in the church you will be safe and find honest and faithful people who do what is right and refuse to compromise; but you would be completely wrong. The same level of lies, deceit, backstabbing, stealing and cheating, go on behind the closed doors of the religious building and the curtained windows of its members, no different to what happens everywhere else in town. 'There is none righteous, no, not one', says the Bible. They may use the name of God a lot and sing the songs, but their hearts are somewhere else counting out their money or devising some plan for getting rich. If push comes to shove, you might just find them turning you in when the persecution begins for real.

I have preached and taught in hundreds of churches, spoken to tens of thousands of 'believers', trained up both evangelists and pastors, but to this day I know of very few who I would trust with my life. I know of unbelievers who would keep a secret and help me out if I were in trouble (and they have done on many occasions), but I know of less than 5 church people (including pastors) who would come to my rescue if I were in distress of any sort.  There is always an excuse among the religious not to save a drowning man, even though he cry out for help. This is what is wrong with the church today.

Only a heaven-sent revival that begins with conviction of sin and deep repentance will change the church and bring it to where it ought to be. There is no revival without such things being present. A fancy band, people laughing like rabid hyenas when the so-called prophet touches them, jiving and dancing down the isles, and worshipping the visiting miracle-worker is not revival. It is not even God.  God is not there. It is a delusion, and it may indeed be a delusion sent from God. When the Israelites demanded meat in the wilderness, God gave them their demands until they vomited on it.

Revival is not a praise meeting either, where everyone thrusts their hands in the air toward heaven. The poor man in the New Testament would not so much as lift his head upward, but said, 'Oh God! be merciful to me a sinner'.  This man was real close to God, but maybe he did not even realize it; for God is near to them who are of a broken spirit, and of a broken and contrite heart. He gets real close to those who humble themselves and turn from their wicked ways.

I care not who I might offend with these words, for the truth will make you free, but to refuse the truth is to harden your heart and find no way back to God or hearing his voice ever again.

I have watched when people refused to hear what God was saying directly to them. They never heard again, for their ears were shut, and God had withdrawn himself from them. Be careful!

Now none of what I say should cause anyone a problem with their doctrinal stances, for the same is written in Holy Scripture. Just because someone goes to church, sings beautifully on the stage, gives amazing testimonies, or is even a preacher or pastor, it does not mean they know God, or indeed ever did know him. They may have felt his presence at times, sensed the conviction of His Spirit, made decisions to go his way, but it does not mean that they ever were born again or were regenerated, transformed, or became a child of God.

The last few years has shown me the folly of believing that all who use the name of Jesus actually belong to him. There is great deception in the world, and in the churches. The name of Jesus is blasphemed out in the world, and it is taken in vain within the church. God will not hold you guiltless if you take his name in vain. If you use his name, you had better use it in reverence and fear, for so do the angels who dwell in his presence. When I hear the religious using phrases like, 'Oh my God', and, 'Jesus Christ', as a term of speech when something surprises them or disgusts them, then they are taking the name of the Lord in vain.

And can I ask, who cheapened the name of Jesus to 'IJN' after everything some people say? His name is not abbreviated. It is glorious, higher than any name in heaven or upon earth. Devils fear and flee at that name: but believers use it cheaply and with no understanding about reverence and godly fear.

And here are some more thoughts.

I am shocked by the lack of faithfulness among those who claim to know Christ. They think nothing of breaking promises, failing to keep their word, telling deliberate lies to one another, and pretending to be righteous at the same time.

Where is the love of God shed abroad in the heart? The love that seeks the lost and sick, reaches out to the poor and needy, goes the extra mile for your friend or brother (so-called), pays the bill or brings food to the hungry?

Where is the reliability that proves faithfulness, especially in times of trouble and affliction? Where is the heart that is just like Jesus? Where is the human kindness enhanced by divine loving kindness? Where is the selflessness that puts others before oneself and would rather lose something than see my friend in trouble? What is Christianity without these things? Just a boring, cold, indifferent and  prejudiced ritual that holds no value and no reality. It is neither hot nor cold, but lukewarm, and shall be spewed out of God's mouth when he sends his judgments upon the earth.

God is searching for a heart, or should I say, somebody with a heart. And what sort of heart does he look for? The Bible says his eyes 'search to and fro throughout the whole earth to show himself strong on behalf of the ones whose heart is perfect towards him'. He wants to reveal his glory and strength, his wisdom and power on the behalf of such a soul.

We might well ask, what is a perfect heart? The answer is not what you may think. God is not looking for a sinless man who never does wrong and never fails him. Many assume that God is asking too much if he looks for someone who never ever does any sin or thinks any bad thoughts. The Bible is clear when it says that a righteous man may indeed fail, 'For a just man falls seven times, but rises up again', but God upholds him and still declares him righteous, for God knows his heart.

God is not looking for a monk who has shut himself away in a monastery to separate himself from all the attractions of the world in a bid to overcome temptation. He is looking for a heart that is just simply sold out to him, who, though he may mess up at times and fail to hit the mark, his heart is fixed, getting back up and running after the Lord, seeking his will and purpose constantly, living in a form of constant prayer that is the essential breath of his life, even though most of the time he does not notice it.

Here is a soul who has forsaken the world and its attractions, cast off any ideas of self-satisfying achievements, and does all that he does to give praise to the name of Jesus. He wants nothing more than to be used of God for all of his life on earth. He may, like Christ, be rejected by the people, especially the church people, be misunderstood and condemned by the crowds, laughed at for his zeal and personal faith, and hated for his words that speak the truth. But he refuses to be a crowd-pleaser or bribe-taker, and will not sit in the seat of the scornful, and refuses the seat of gossip and slander. It is not a matter of trying to be like Jesus, but they took notice of those early disciples because they had been with Jesus.

Therein lies the root and power of a perfect heart. And before we jump to any short-cut conclusions, "Oh, I have met Jesus", let us remember that Judas also had been with Jesus, but his heart was with the money.

Its time to get up, its getting late,

The King's at the door, and he won't wait.

There's coming a day when the sun won't shine,

You'll wake up  -  find you're left behind!

Having said all that, I would like to add that this year has come to me with a great level of optimism and expectation. We are called once more to the Great Commission to go preach the gospel to every nation and every soul. This charge has not been fulfilled. Over 7 billion people alive on planet earth right now, and the vast majority (even here in the UK) have never heard the real gospel proclaimed. I believe that God will supply the finances, technological expertise, personnel, and new innovations in order to bring the message of Jesus to this dying world. I also believe in a mighty move of God that will usher in an extraordinary harvest of souls, rescued from sin and evil, and radically transformed through the Holy Spirit.

I can supply all the Bible references for everything I have spoken of above upon request.
