And anyone who dares to preach the truth or rise up and clear their lives of all the things that stand between them and God's purpose, shall become a target of Satan. He will throw everything he has in his immense arsenal at them to paralyze their progress, trip them up, shut them down and silence their voices forever.
If you dare to walk away from sin, disobedience, failure and wrong choices, in order to get yourself back into a place of usefulness with God, you will face a storm of protest, a fight against the flesh, a battle with the powers of darkness, and misunderstanding by your friends and even your family.
Owning up to the truth, and acknowledging just how far we are from God and his will for our lives, is the beginning of the matter, and until we accept what he says, what his Word says, we shall drift along in our spiritual slumber until we drop dead.
Nothing in this world is of any value compared to your intimacy and walk with God. Better to lose absolutely everything, than lose the blessing and presence of God from your life. Remember the days when you first met the Lord, when heaven came down and touched your soul and elevated you from all the cares and troubles of this world. Go back to the old paths of righteousness where God came first, and others and the things of this world were of little significance in comparison to doing God's will. That's where I'm headed.
